Rose said. “As a lung cancer survivor, I know firsthand that education and awareness are key to an early diagnosis, treatment and recovery. I applaud this great program and encourage all my neighbors to help us spread the word.”

Many activities are planned including wearing turquoise to work, the campaign’s signature color, during the designated week and sharing personal stories with the organization on their website  Other activities will include lighting buildings and landmarks in turquoise and an organization gala to promote the message.
