Federal gun responsibility reforms can only make Connecticut residents safer. Ask your family and friends in other states to call their senators and representatives to support common sense gun reform legislation.
Monte Frank Speaking at Mothers’ United Against Violence March
at Capitol in Hartford
From March 9 to March 12, Mr. Monte Frank and his team of 25 other cyclists rode from Sandy Hook Elementary School to Washington DC. Named the Sandy Hook Ride on Washington, the ride was part of an urge Congress to curb gun violence by passing laws with such measures as forcing all gun buyers to pass criminal background checks, banning military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and making gun trafficking a federal crime.
Connecticut Against Gun Violence (CAGV) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to making Connecticut communities, families, and children safe from gun violence through a commonsense approach to public education and legislative advocacy.
