It is a well written profile and needs to be shared. Beverly is truly one of a kind and her work in the Milford-Orange Probate Court is unparalleled.

While the center focus of the campaigns this year leans to the race for the State Senate and State Representatives etc, we have to remember that the Judge of Probate is an elected office and we need to make sure we give our support to our own Judge Beverly when casting our vote on November 4th.

Some excerpts from Judge Beverly’s candidate profile below;

As you vote on Election Day, I ask for support as your Probate Judge for the Milford-Orange Probate Court. My proven record, experience and commitment to the people I serve in both Milford and Orange can continue for all families in our communities……Community service and volunteerism is a central part of my extra-judicial life and over the years, I have been recognized by the Housatonic Council of Girl Scouts, the Milford Chamber of Commerce and the Concerned Citizens for People with Disabilities for service to our communities. Serving as a volunteer and board member of many local organizations such as Bridges, Devon Rotary, United Way and others, I am committed to ensuring that our communities have the support services that we need when we face family loss and crisis.

A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers

The Milford Democrats would like to extend their sincerest thanks to all the volunteers who came out to walk door to door with the candidates on October 5th last Sunday. People came as early as 10am to Headquarters to knock on doors and distribute campaign literature across several different neighborhoods around Milford. State Senator Gayle Slossberg, State Representatives Kim Rose, James Maroney, Paul Davis and Judge of Probate Beverly Streit-Kefalas all werre in attendance to meet and greet the volunteers as they went out the door to walk neighborhoods.

We also had a solid turnout from students who came by to Headquarters, sparing their Sunday evening helping out with the campaign. It is great to see how interested they are in the campaigns and we greatly value their participation! We know we will be seeing them again throughout the remainder of the election year.

A big thanks to State Representative’s James Maroney’s father who after everyone came back from their canvassing shifts hosted a cookout for the volunteers and candidates, serving delicious hot dogs and hamburgers to everyone. For the first campaign event of October, it was a great kick-off for the last weeks of campaigning here in Milford. Getting out the vote for our candidates will be very important and it will require a lot of work going forward but it can be accomplished.

We hope to see everyone soon and thanks again to everyone who came out to support their candidates.
