Polls will be open on Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. As long as you’re in line by 8 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.
Election Day Registration
Eligible Connecticut voters who are not yet registered can still sign up to vote on Election Day. Secretary of the State Denise Merrill announced last week that Tuesday’s municipal election will mark the first time that Election Day registration will be in effect in Connecticut. You still must meet the basic requirements; you must be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day, and you must be a U.S. citizen. To register in person, you will need to supply proof of identity and residence.
Under state law eligible state residents may register on election day at their respective town or city hall. Those who register on election day then will be afforded a room to vote in at that municipal building.
If you need further information regarding registering to vote, call the Milford Registrars of Voters office: (203) 783-3240.
