It is an honor to serve as your State Representative . I am once again asking for your support and vote this November. We have accomplished a lot these past 4 years but there is still so much work to do! With your support I can continue to be “Your Voice in Hartford”.
From her humble beginnings as a community activist, to serving as your state representative, Kim have always had the best interest of her neighbors in mind.
In pursuit of aggressively conserving and preserving our state’s wonderful scenic areas, such as Silver Sand Beach, throughout Kim’s adult life, she spent a significant amount of time working on several different projects. She helped to reduce the number of units at a condominium complex, where the health and safety of her neighbors was in jeopardy.
Kim additionally worked on stopping the over-development of Milford’s last large undeveloped parcel at Eisenhower Park, and organized her neighbors to stop a recycling facility from becoming operational at 990 Naugatuck Avenue.
With a passion for serving her community, in 2007, Kim decided that she wanted to do more to represent her neighbors. She successfully ran for the Planning and Zoning Board and proudly served the 3rd District, while fighting for smart development and conservation. She was elected Vice-Chair in 2008 and 2009.
As State Representative, Kim also serves as the is Assistant Majority Whip, Vice Chairman of the Housing Committee and serves on the Select Committee on Veteran’s Affairs in the Connecticut General Assembly.
