The Partying in Milford Isn’t Done Yet


While Milford is winding down on its 375th birthday, there are still plenty of gatherings and special events to take place this week.

  • Sunday, June 15th

 Grand Parade is at  2:00 PM

Our finale to Celebration Week with floats, music and marching groups! Parade route from Parsons parking lot onto West Main to West River Street, to River Street, to Broad Street

  •  Monday, June 16th

Saint Mary School 20th Annual Golf Classic   12:00 Noon –The Tradition Golf Club at Oak Lane in Woodbridge.

This fundraiser event is an afternoon scramble that starts at noon and includes lunch and dinner. Your sponsorship goes to support the St. Mary Home & School Association which supplements the school budget and assists in reducing tuition and operating costs for our school.

  • Thursday June 19th

Walnut Beach Self-Guided Tour 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM – The Arch at Walnut Beach.

Every third Thursday from June through November at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Elizabeth Wright of the “Beach Gallery” will provide maps for self-guided tours of the Walnut Beach area. For information call (203) 301-4498. Sponsored by: Milford Historical Society.

  • Saturday, June 21st

Woodmont Walking Tour, 10:00-11:00 AM – Adam’s Parking Lot, corner New Haven & Merwin Avenues.

The Milford Historical Society will sponsor a free walking tour of Woodmont. Katie Krauss Murphy, author of “Woodmont on the Sound” will lead. Meet at Adam’s Parking lot, corner of New Haven and Merwin Avenues, near the Milford Bank branch office.

  • June 27th and 28th Milford Volunteer Ancient Fife and Drum Muster 

The Muster begins with a  Friday (27th) night Tattoo beginning at 7pm on the Milford Green.  Saturday the 28th the parade will step off at 1pm and a muster to follow on the green.
