Phil is the liaison to Milford 's Council on Aging, the Planning and Zoning Board, and the Sewer Commission. Additionally, he serves on the Public Works Committee and is the Vice Chairman of the Library Renovation Committee. Prior to his aldermanic term, Phil served on the Milford Planning and Zoning Board for seven years, and he takes great pride in his record of never missing a regular or special session meeting. This spotless record reflects the commitment to community service that Phil personifies.

Phil Vetro and his wife, Peggi, have lived in Milford for 34 years where they have raised their sons, Philip Jr. and Thomas. Phil is a Marine Corps Veteran, who has owned and operated his own business as a home improvement contractor for over thirty years. As ambassador for the Milford Chamber of Commerce, Captain of the Point Beach Volunteer Fire Engine Co. #6, a Boy Scout leader, or many of the other volunteer positions that he has held, Phil has donated his time, energy and passion to serving all of Milford's citizens.
