Barack Obama is running for President!

This just in from Karin Gosselink, the 3rd CD phone bank coordinator.

In the next few weeks, we’re making calls to the thousands of Barack Obama supporters in our 3rd Congressional District. The purpose of these calls is to:

• connect supporters to our grassroots campaign
• recruit volunteers for our summer voter registration drive and community events
• organize volunteer networks for the fall general election campaign

These calls are extremely important; the volunteers we connect with now will be crucial in helping turn out the vote in the fall.

and of course everyone knows that getting out the vote in November is also important to our State elections: Senator Gayle Slossberg, Representative Richard Roy, Representative Paul Davis, and Alderwoman Barbara Lambert, our next Rep from the 118th!
